London - The British child-killer Myra Hindley, who has served 31 years in jail, will be moved to a lower-security prison in the next few weeks, a prison services spokesman said yesterday.
The decision to transfer Hindley (55), who is serving a life sentence, from Durham maximum security jail in northern England to Highpoint in the eastern English county of Suffolk, was described as routine.
It was announced a month after a High Court decision that Hindley had no prospect of release.
