GARDAI investigating the murder of the Dublin civil servant, Ms Marilyn Rynn, still want to talk to a taxi driver who brought her from Raheny into the city centre on the night she was killed

Ms Rynn (41) hailed the taxi outside the Shieling Hotel at around 2 a.m. on Friday, December 22nd, after a staff party.

This was one of the last certain sightings of Ms Rynn, although eyewitnesses also place her at Eddie Rockets, the late night diner in O'Connell Street and waiting for the 3.00 a.m. Nitelink bus service to Blanchardstown.

Gardai investigating the murder are still understood to be puzzled, as to why Ms Rynn took a taxi into Dublin to catch a bus back out to her home in the north west of the city, rather than taking the taxi directly home.
