A man serving life for murder was jailed for four years yesterday for stealing £18 using a blood filled syringe. Mark Scally (21), Glenties Drive, Dublin, was on bail on the robbery charge when he murdered Michael Waters on September 26th, 1995, in a row over £10 drugs money. He pleaded guilty at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court to stealing the £18 on June 28th, 1995, near the city centre.
