An Enniskillen motorist poured a jug of urine on the floor of Dunboyne Garda station in an attempt to frustrate a drink-driving prosecution, Dunshaughlin District Court heard yesterday. John Richardson, Lawnakill Park, Enniskillen, had given a urine sample after being found driving on the incorrect side of the road at Ross, Tara, on June 27th, but then overturned the sample.

He was fined £300 for attempting to frustrate a prosecution and £300 for dangerous driving. The convictions are to be endorsed on his licence.
