A Co Derry mother of 19 children was killed yesterday morning outside Maghera when the car she was driving collided wish another car. She was Mrs Susan McPeake (62), from Brackareilly Road, Maghera.
The accident occurred on the Fivemilestraight Road between Maghera and Draperstown. Mrs McPeake, who died at the scene, was driving home after taking a daughter into Maghera for work. The other driver was taken to hospital.
Mrs McPeake leaves her husband, James, and her 19 children, one of whom flew to Tenerife on Thursday on holiday.
