A woman was reunited yesterday morning with her baby boy who had been abandoned at a Dublin church. The child, aged between a year and 18 months, was discovered by local children at the gates of St John's Lane Church in Dublin shortly after 8 p.m. on Thursday.
The baby was brought to Kevin Street Garda station and then to Crumlin Children's Hospital, but was said to be healthy. The Garda issued an appeal to find the mother shortly afterwards. The baby's mother presented herself at Tallaght Garda station yesterday.
