The Moriarty tribunal is to resume public hearings at the end of the month, Mr Justice Michael Moriarty said this morning.
Presiding over the first session of the tribunal in over nine months, Mr Justice Moriarty said the dates for the hearings had yet to be decided.
This morning's sitting was closed to the public after counsel for the tribunal, Ms Jacqueline O'Brien, applied to have the sitting in private. She said no evidence relevant to the terms of the tribunal was likely to emerge.
Ms O'Brien said the application related to the confidential investigative phase of the tribunal's inquiries.
