Lansing - A Michigan man, Mr Larry Ross (47), who bought a hot dog with a $100 bill and used the change to buy $98 worth of lottery tickets stepped forward yesterday to claim half of a record $363 million jackpot.

The Rosses run a swimming pool company. Mr Ross said he routinely puts in 80 to 100 hours a week in summer and had not had a holiday in six years. The win would not change his family even though they might buy more "toys".
