Glasgow - South African President Thabo Mbeki was heckled by a handful of AIDS activists yesterday as he opened a new health facility named after his father at Glasgow's Caledonian University.

"You have got blood on your hands," the 10 protesters shouted as Mr Mbeki, on the second day of his state vist to the UK, opened the Govan Mbeki Health Centre. Police quickly surrounded them and hustled them away.
