A man pleaded guilty yesterday to the manslaughter of another man found dead in the grounds of the Mill Missionary Fathers in Kilkenny in 1997. In a Central Criminal Court hearing to fix dates for trials, Sean Bambrick (24), Loughboy, Kilkenny, pleaded not guilty to murder but guilty to the manslaughter of Mr Michael O'Sullivan (44), of no fixed address.
Mr O'Sullivan's body was found by a priest in the grounds of Freshford House on May 1st, 1997. Sentencing was adjourned until next Tuesday.
