Pretoria - Ms Winnie Madikizela-Mandela said yesterday that South Africa will be better governed under expected incoming president, Mr Thabo Mbeki, than it has been in the past five years under President Nelson Mandela, her former husband.
Ranked 10th on the ANC's election list, Ms Madikizela-Mandela has been drafted by the party to spearhead its drive to retain the support of its grassroots members, who have become disillusioned over promises made in the lead-up to the country's first democratic election in 1994.
