Shares in Manchester United have soared as a mystery buyer trading under the name of Cubic Expression Company increased its holding in the English premier league soccer club to 6.77 per cent.
The shares surged over 15 per cent to 185p.
Company Secretary Mr David Beswitherick said that Manchester United, last season's premiership champions, had not received any sort of bid approach and was unaware of the identity of the buyers.
