Man wounded in INLA gun attack

A man was injured in a gun attack in west Belfast at the weekend in the continuing INLA feud. A man who was with him escaped uninjured.

A gunman opened fire on the pair on the Falls Road around 5.30 p.m. on Saturday.

They had just left the headquarters of the Irish Republican Socialist Party, the INLA's political wing, and were getting into a car when the attack occurred.

One of the men was hit in the shoulder, but was not seriously injured.
