Manchester United's stg£19million new arrival Ruud van Nistelrooy was unveiled at Old Trafford today - and admitted he felt "fantastic" about joining the Premiership champions.
The Dutch striker will complete his move from PSV Eindhoven during the summer and spearhead Sir Alex Ferguson's quest to complete his managerial career with a Champions League triumph in his home city of Glasgow next season.
"It feels fantastic," said van Nistelrooy.
"Last year I was so close to joining and it was a big disappointment that it didn't come true. This is the best thing that has happened to me.
"I was always confident I would sign for the club because when you get support from the people here, it made me determined to fight and come back stronger.
"It is a dream to play in this team."
