Man United 3 Deportivo 2
(Man United win 5-2 on aggregate)
Substitute Ole Gunnar Solskjaer scored twice as Manchester United beat nine-man Deportivo Coruna 3-2 to reach the Champions League semi-finals with 5-2 aggregate tonight.
Solskjaer, an early replacement for England captain David Beckham who was carried off with a possible foot fracture, scored after 23 and 56 minutes at Old Trafford.
In between Laurent Blanc scored an own goal but a third United goal after 69 minutes by Ryan Giggs killed off the Spaniards, who had Lionel Scaloni and Aldo Duscher sent off in the second half.
Djalminha scored Deportivo's second with a late deflected free kick. In the two-legged semi-finals United, the 1999 European champions, face Germany's Bayer Leverkusen, who knocked out Liverpool last night.
Elsewhere Real Madrid won 2-0 at home against Bayern Munich and qualify for the last four 3-2 on aggregate. Helguera opened the scoring in the 68th minute with Guti securing the tie with a late strike in the 84th.
