An appeal by a Dublin man against his conviction on a charge of having £500,000 worth of cocaine for supply was dismissed by the Court of Criminal Appeal yesterday.

Eamonn Kelly, Furry Park Road, was convicted by Dublin Circuit Criminal Court of having the cocaine for supply and of the possession of it on September 3rd, 1992. He was jailed for 14 years. The Court of Criminal Appeal will hear submissions next Thursday in relation to the sentence.
