A MAN shot dead his estranged partner in a busy shopping centre packed with Christmas shoppers yesterday and then shot himself in a lift moments later.
The killings in the Pentagon centre, Chatham, Kent, took place before the couple's two children, an eight month old girl and a boy (2), police said last night. The man's body was found slumped in a lift with a shotgun lying between his legs.
