Man killed in Derry knife attack

A young man was stabbed to death in Derry city in the early hours of this morning.

Police said the victim, who was in his twenties, died after the incident in the Little James Street area around 3 a.m.

One man was arrested.

Police, who are treating the death as murder, cordoned off the scene while forensic examinations continue.
