A man in his 40s has died following a car crash in Co Cavan.
The male passenger was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda where he died from his injuries yesterday evening.
Gardaí said the driver of the car lost control and crashed into a street lamp at Cabra, Kingscourt, Co Cavan at about 3.30pm.
