A man in his 30s is in a critical condition in hospital following his rescue from a burning flat in Co Down.
The alarm was raised early this morning at the flat at Kilwarlin Way, Hillsborough.
Police found the flat filled with smoke when they arrived and forced their way into the building over concerns that someone was inside.
The man was found unconscious on the living room floor by two officers, who dragged him out through the back door of the building.

He was rushed to Craigavon Area Hospital, where his condition was said to be critical but stable.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
