Man hospitalised after Belfast attack

An elderly car park attendant was treated in hospital today after being attacked in Belfast.

An elderly car park attendant was treated in hospital today after being attacked in Belfast.

The man, 75, was assaulted by a another man in his booth at the car park in Little Donegal Street in the north of the city at about 9.30am, and he was taken to hospital with cuts to his head.

A small amount of cash was stolen.

The attacker was described as wearing a white hooded top, between 18 and 20-years-old and about 5ft 8in tall.

The PSNI said no weapon was used during the robbery and have appealed for witness.
