Man held over fatal UK fire

Two apprentice jockeys died today and two other injured after a fire broke out at a block of flats in Britain.

Two apprentice jockeys died today and two other injured after a fire broke out at a block of flats in Britain.

A local man in his 30s was arrested by police investigating an arson attack at the three-storey block in Norton, near Malton, north Yorkshire.

The two people who died have yet to be named, but police said two others were treated in hospital for their injuries.

One man has been discharged and the other remains in York District Hospital, although his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
