A man who raped a woman at knife-point outside her apartment building has been jailed for nine years by Mr Justice Carney at the Central Criminal Court.
Raymond Eglington (26), of New Road, Inchicore, jumped on the 27-year-old woman outside her flat in Dublin on March 24th, 2000.
Mr Justice Carney suspended the final 18 months of the sentence, taking into account Eglington's early plea of guilty and expression of remorse.
