A teenager still suffers nightmares of being killed by a neighbour who sexually molested her, Dublin Circuit Criminal Court heard yesterday.
The girl's mother also said, her 13 year old daughter was afraid of her attacker when she saw him on the street.
Judge Kieran O'Connor imposed a four year suspended sentence on the 21 year old man whom he said had committed a "horrible offence".
The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pleaded guilty to one count of sexually assaulting the teenager in Dublin on March 21st, 1995.
