A Cookstown man who was caught with two containers filled with petrol during last year's Drumcree standoff has been fined £400 and bound over for two years.

At Cookstown Magistrates' Court yesterday, defence counsel said that Keith Newell (23), of Milburn Close, was the "messenger" and that the petrol was to have been used by other people.
