A man died when he lost control of a car and struck a ditch at Togher, in Drogheda, Co Louth, at 1 a.m. yesterday. Mr Patrick Lynch (28), from Collon Road, Dunleer, Co Louth, was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. No other vehicles were involved.
