A Longford man has been remanded in custody for sentence for aggravated sexual assault on another man last year.
The 20-year-old pleaded guilty before the Central Criminal Court in Dublin to sexually assaulting the victim on September 24th 2005 in circumstances involving serious violence or the threat of serious violence such as to cause injury, humiliation or degradation.
Mr Justice Paul Carney declared him the man a sex offender under the legislation and directed the preparation of a victim impact report.
