Londis on target for 40 new shops

Retailer Londis said today it was due to break its target of recruiting 40 new shops for its network in 2007.

Retailer Londis said today it was due to break its target of recruiting 40 new shops for its network in 2007.

The company has signed up more than 70 new shops over the past 18 months, including 32 in the nine months to September 2007. A further six stores will be added this month, the company said.

ADM Londis joint chief executive Stephen O'Riordan made the announcement today at a Londis retailer conference in Kilkenny.
