VILNIUS - The Lithuanian Prime Minister, Mr Adolfas Slezevicius, has been sacked after parliament voted to dismiss him for his handling of a banking crisis. Some 94 deputies out of 123 present backed a presidential decree to dismiss Mr Slezevicius, who had acknowledged withdrawing his personal savings from a Vilnius bank just two days before it was closed down.
