A Limerick mother and daughter were further remanded on drugs charges yesterday.
Before Limerick District Court were Ms Emda Griffin, Collins Avenue, Kincora Park, and Ms Carol Griffin (29), Hillcroft, St Patrick's Road.
They are charged that on November 3rd, 1998, at St Nessan's Road, Dooradoyle, they had in their possession a controlled drug, cannabis resin, for the purpose of selling or supplying. They are also charged with having the drugs.
An earlier hearing was told that almost 50 kilos, with a street value of £500,000, was found in the boot of their car. They were both remanded in custody until December 22nd.
