A Belfast legal firm has paid £10,000 sterling to a woman job applicant after admitting sexual and political discrimination.
In the case against Mr Francis Hanna (trading as Francis Hanna & Co Solicitors and JWC Rea & Sons Solicitors), Ms Nuala McDonald said references were made to her married status, whether she had children, and to her political opinions during an interview.
