Leeds and Rangers could play each other in the UEFA Cup quarter-final if they can beat tough Dutch opposition in the fourth round following today's draw.
David O’Leary’s side have been drawn to play PSV Eindhoven while Rangers must face Feyenoord.
Both Dutch clubs dropped out of the Champions League after the first group phase.
Leeds are away in the first leg of their fourth round tie on February 21st, 2002, and host PSV at Elland Road a week later.
The Dutch club were the last club to beat Leeds in a UEFA Cup tie at Elland Road.
Rangers are at home in the first leg before travelling to Rotterdam in the return match on February 28th.
The quarter-finals, which could see Rangers and Leeds come face to face for the first time since their Champions League qualifier in 1992 - which Rangers won over two legs - takes place on March 14th and 21st.
