A major law enforcement conference involving senior police officers from more than 20 European countries was opened by the Taoiseach, Mr Ahern, last night.
The 16th European Executive Policing Conference, hosted by the Garda Siochana and the International Association of Chiefs of Police, is taking place over the next three days at Dublin Castle.
