Huntsville, Texas - A suspected serial killer was executed in Texas by lethal injection on Wednesday after leaving his final words on the Internet. Michael Sharp (43) was put to death for the 1982 kidnapping and murder of a woman and her daughter.
In his lengthy Internet statement, Sharp railed against the death penalty. "I was a reflection of you, a reflection of society . . . You have placed yourself on the injecting table. I lay on the gurney heavily bound with straps as I await death to pass over me," he wrote.
The message ends: "I'm outta here. See ya." --(Reuters)
