Chelsea completed the stg£11 million signing of England midfielder Frank Lampard from West Ham
United this afternoon.
The two London clubs agreed the fee for the 22-year-old on Monday and the player was presented at a news conference today aftersigning a five-year contract.
Lampard, who had been linked with Leeds United and Aston Villa, announced his intention to quit West Ham after his uncle Harry Redknapp and hisfather Frank, who was Redkanpp's assistant, left the club in May. -Reuters
