Harry Kewell is expected announce that he will join Liverpool in an interview on Australian televison at 9.30 am tomorrow morning, ending much speculation over the Leeds winger's future.
Reports suggest that Kewell has made a pre-recorded interview with Australian television station Channel 9in which he will confirm a stg£7 million move to Liverpool. The interview will be broadcast at 6.30pm Eastern Australian time.
According to the Australian winger, he has been in talks with a club, believed to be the Anfield club, for some time now but Leeds insist that they have not yet agreed a deal with for the player dubbed the Wizard of Oz.
"I have been speaking to them for over six months and everything seems just right for me to go there," said Kewell.
Earlier today reports suggested that the Australian international was ready to move to Liverpool within the next 24 to 48 hours after snubbing late bids from Manchester United and Chelsea.
A boyhood Liverpool fan, Kewell is believed to have been offered stg£60,000 per-week, a rise of stg£12,000 on his current wages.
Manchester United and Chelsea are both understood to have made late offers for the 24-year-old Australia international.
