Kerry Group has announced the acquisition of two US based food ingredients businesses for $67 million.
Guernsey Bel provides ingredients for ice-cream, breakfast cereal and and confectionery products. Pacific Seasonings provides seasonings and spices for the meat, prepared foods and snack food industries.
Since year-end 2002, Kerry Group has also completed the acquisition of Sunpure, a manufacturer of natural citrus flavours and ingredients.
Sunpure was acquired for a total consideration of $68 million.
