A jury has been sworn in for the trial of two brothers accused of murdering another man in Dublin two years ago.

Warren Dumbrell (34) and his brother Jeffrey (28) both with an address at Emmet Road in Inchicore, Dublin, have pleaded not guilty to murdering Christopher Cawley (33) on October 29th 2006.

Mr Cawley, a father of six from Tyrone Place, Inchicore, was found stabbed and beaten in the flats complex where he lived, on Vincent Street West in the Dublin suburb.

Warren Dumbrell also denies threatening to kill Janet KcKenna at the same time and place.

The trial, which is expected to last three weeks, will start before the jury of eight women and four men in the Central Criminal Court sitting at Cloverhill tomorrow.
