Joyce overtakes John Grisham

Washington - James Joyce's Ulysses has shot up the bestsellers list, ahead of popular novelists such as John Grisham and Tom Clancy, thanks to its number one ranking in a list of the best 100 novels published last month.

Ulysses is now the number two bestseller on the online bookseller, Amazon.com (behind Rebecca Wells's Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood) and has enjoyed a 50 per cent increase in sales in some bookshops.
