A Jewish settler has died after a gun attack in the West Bank today according to Israel Radio.
A Palestinian gunman wounded the settler at the rear entrance of the Jewish settlement of Itamar before being shot dead by the enclave's security guards.
An armed group in Palestinian President Yasser Arafat's Fatah movement claimed responsibility for the attack.
