An Irish man, listed as being a potential trouble-maker at the World Cup, has been denied entry to Japan, police said today.
The 29-year-old man, who arrived in Osaka on Thursday, was the 19th person to be denied entry under the anti-hooligan clause of the immigration code since May 26th, the National Police Agency said.
The Irish man, whose name was not released, came to Japan via Bangkok, the agency said.
The decision to deny entry to the man was based upon information given by British police, the agency said.
