Israel has reopened three border crossings for goods into the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip, ending the blockade it had reimposed on the Palestinian territory following a rocket attack, a military spokesman said.
"The Karni, Nahal Oz and Erez terminals were reopened this morning," said the spokesman.
Israel closed the three crossings - the main points for transit of goods into the impoverished territory - yesterday in response to a rocket attack the day before in violation of an Egyptian-brokered ceasefire agreement.
Egypt partially opened its Rafah crossing point with the Gaza Strip yesterday, allowing Palestinians needing to leave the territory to do so.
