A 28-year-old Irish man has drowned at a music festival in Croatia over the weekend.
Croatian police said the body of an unknown man was recovered from the sea at 11.30am yesterday and a postmortem revealed he died from drowning.
Police later identified him as a 28-year-old Irish citizen. He has not been named.
It is believed the man was attending the Dimensions music festival in Pula.

A spokeswoman for the Department of Foreign Affairs said it is providing consular assistance to the man’s family through the Irish embassies in London and Croatia.
