Birds of America - Lorrie Moore

A native of New York state, Lorrie Moore attended St Lawrence and Cornell universities. She is a professor of English at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. She is the author of two other short story collections, Self- Help and Life-Like, and two novels, Anagrams, and Who Will Run the Frog Hospital? Her work has appeared in the New Yorker, Best American Short Stories and many other publications.
