The inquest has already heard that no criminal prosecutions will be taken by the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) over the death.

Mrs Seavers died three weeks after the collision from acute respiratory distress syndrome due to multi-organ failure caused by head and leg trauma.

Dublin City Coroner Dr Brian Farrell has assured Mrs Seavers's sons they would be given access to the Garda report on the crash in light of the DPP's decision not to prosecute.
