Indonesia expels US journalist
Jakarta - Indonesia expelled the radical American journalist, Mr Allan Nairn, yesterday after he entered the country despite being black-listed by authorities.
Mr Nairn, who is also part of the Justice For All human rights group, held a news conference at his Jakarta hotel on Tuesday. He used the session to call for an end to US military assistance to the Indonesian armed forces. Mr Nairn witnessed the 1991 Dili massacre of up to 200 East Timorese by Indonesian troops.
