India announced fresh diplomatic sanctions against Pakistan today, including banning its rival's planes from Indian air space and halving their respective embassy staff numbers in each others' countries.
Foreign Minister Mr Jaswant Singh said the measures were being taken as a result of Pakistan's attempts to "dupe" the international community with "cosmetic measures and non measures" against militant groups operating in its territory.
