Independent Group's Australian subsidiary APN said today it remains confident of reporting a year to December net profit of at least 100 million Australian dollars.
In a trading statement, the company said it has seen consistent strong advertising growth across all its major markets since October last year.
"Forward bookings are encouraging and advertising across the major divisions remains buoyant. These conditions are expected to offset the impact of a weakening New Zealand dollar," the statement said.
"The recent improvement in national advertising in Australia looks likely to provide further benefits," it said.
