The husband of Waterford woman Margaret "Meg" Walsh, whose body was found in the River Suir last October, has been charged with her murder.

John O'Brien (40) appeared before Waterford District Court this morning where he was remanded in custody to appear again next Friday.
Mr O'Brien was arrested by gardaí last night at the home he shared with his wife in Ballinakill Downs in Waterford City.
Ms Walsh (35) disappeared in Waterford city on October 1st last year and her body was found two weeks later in the River Suir after an extensive search.
