A crude blast bomb exploded in North Belfast today the RUC said.
No one was hurt in the incident off Rosemount Gardens, between Antrim Road and Cavehill Road, shortly after midnight, but the blast caused slight damage to the wall of a house.
The explosion happened amid continuing sectarian tension in North Belfast.
